Beechfield Healthcare, a leading supplier of assistive technology and healthcare equipment, has presented a donation to AsIAm, Ireland’s National Autism Charity.

The donation was the result of a special initiative held during the AOTI 2025 Annual Conference, where Beechfield Healthcare invited the attending Occupational Therapy community to nominate a charity of their choice. AsIAm was the organisation drawn from the nominations, highlighting the strong connection between the work of OTs and the mission of the autism charity.

James Gargan, representing Beechfield Healthcare, presented the cheque to Adam Harris, founder and CEO of AsIAm.

“We were honoured to make this donation on behalf of Ireland’s Occupational Therapists,” said James Gargan. “OTs work tirelessly to support the autistic community, so it was incredibly fitting that they selected AsIAm. Their advocacy and support services are vital, and we are delighted to contribute to their important work.”

AsIAm, founded by Adam Harris, is dedicated to building a more inclusive Ireland for autistic individuals. The organisation provides community support, advocacy, and educational resources to the public and private sectors.

“We are deeply grateful to Beechfield Healthcare and the entire OT community for this generous support,” said Adam Harris, CEO of AsIAm. “This donation will help us continue to provide critical services and resources to autistic people and their families across the country. It is a wonderful example of community partnership.”
