We were excited to participate in the recent “Supporting People With Overweight and Obesity” event in the Russell Centre, Ireland’s first Academic Integrated Primary Health Care Centre in Tallaght Cross West, Dublin 24, where we had the chance to exhibit our latest bariatric equipment and connect with Occupational Therapists across Dublin.

Empowering Occupational Therapists with Practical Bariatric Solutions

This event provided a unique opportunity to showcase our bariatric equipment to healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting patients with obesity and overweight. Designed with patient comfort, safety, and mobility in mind, our solutions help Occupational Therapists provide optimal care across both hospital and community settings.

Highlights from Supporting People With Overweight and Obesity

Throughout the event, we engaged in meaningful conversations with OTs eager to learn how our equipment could enhance their practice. From discussions on patient safety to practical applications for supporting mobility, the enthusiasm and insights shared by attendees confirmed the importance of quality equipment in bariatric care.

Excellent Agenda

Bridin Carey and Gena McClafferty, the organisers, compiled an excellent agenda, with insightful presentations and interactive sessions that deepened understanding and offered practical strategies for Occupational Therapists working with clients affected by obesity and overweight.

Looking Ahead

If you couldn’t attend the event or want to learn more about our bariatric solutions, we’re here to help. Supporting healthcare professionals in delivering impactful care is our commitment, and we look forward to continuing to support the OT community in Dublin and beyond.

Thank you again to the event organizers and everyone who made this event a success.
